Crafting surfboards is a work that combines art, science, and craftsmanship. Zarcshapes is a surfboard brand dedicated to handcrafting custom boards, fine-tuning every detail from the shape of the foam blank to the final finish to meet each surfer’s specific needs. Every board is unique, made with precision and sensitivity, taking into account the surfer’s style, the type of wave, and all the variables present in the sport.
The main idea behind the project is to incorporate elements of nature that are inherently connected to surfing, implementing them in various ways across the visual identity and the boards themselves creating an original brand, just like the boards crafted within it.
There are 8 surfboard models. Each one comes in 4 colors and features an editorial composition that visually represents the concept of the board model.
Each surfboard model has a specific function; from its function comes a shape, and from its shape, a name, a symbol, and a concept.
